Praia, Dec 20 (Inforpress) – The São Silvestre Praia 2019 Race takes place on Saturday 28, at distances of 10 and 5 kilometers, speed and paralympic, with departure and goal in the requalified area of Kebra Canela and passing through some of the city’s main streets.
The organization, led by manager Orlandinho Mascarenhas, also expects to conduct competitions aimed at adapted sports, namely visual, amputees, wheelchair users, paralysis and deaf, in order to preserve social inclusion, a measure implemented since this mentor has recovered the traditional São Silvestre Praia race.
A large participation of athletes is expected for this event which has systematically attracted the attention of the Cabo Verdean male and female athletics and has been receiving Cabo Verdean athletes living in the Diaspora annually.
São Silvestre Praia 2019 will have four water points for the 10 km race and two points for competitors of 5 km, in addition to the goal. According to the organization, the São Silvestre Praia 2019 race medals sponsored by Africa Sport are already in the city of Praia.
