Ribeira Brava, Sep 6 (Inforpress) – Three interns of the Water Resources Management course at the University of Applied Sciences in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, are in Ribeira Brava, São Nicolau, to support the Autonomous Water Service in the sector of water production.
The initiative comes as part of the latest visit by Ribeira Brava’s mayor, José Martins, to Europe, more specifically to the Netherlands, where he took up the issue of water, and a partnership was established between the City Council of Ribeira Brava l and the Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences.
As a result of this partnership, three interns on the the Water Resources Management Course travelled to the island with the purpose of supporting the Autonomous Water Service in the water production sector.
According to the City council of Brava City Council, subsequently, within the scope of the same protocol, the municipality will receive, in the health area, a team of medical specialists, “an investment that will bring added value to its citizens”.
