Ribeira Brava, May 15 (Inforpress) – The Prime Minister, Ulisses Correia e Silva, begins today a three-day visit to the island of São Nicolau with the inauguration of the road that connects Ribeira da Prata to Fragata in the center of attention.
During his stay on the island, the Prime Minister is accompanied by a delegation made up of the Minister of Agriculture and Environment, Gilberto Silva, and the Minister of Infrastructure, Spatial Planning and Housing, Eunice Silva.
In accordance with the visit programme, Ulisses Correia e Silva will be present, in the morning, at the presentation of the technical, economic and environmental feasibility study of the highway connecting Preguiça to Tarrafal.
In the afternoon, the Head of Government will visit the Campo Solar in Preguiça and preside over the inauguration of Rua D (street D), in the same locality, and the laying of the first stone for the construction of the grass field of Juncalinho and inauguration of the pedestrian area of the locality, projects funded under the Rehabilitation, Requalification and Accessibility Programme (PRRA).
