Ribeira Brava, December 29, 2022 (Inforpress) – The organization of the São Silvestre athletics and cycling events, in the municipality of Tarrafal de São Nicolau, expects the presence of more than 90 athletes in this sporting event, which takes place today.
Speaking to Inforpress, Adir Cruz, councilor for Sport at City Hall of Tarrafal, said that everything is ready for the tests, which include senior and junior levels.
According to him, the cycling events are scheduled for 8:00 am, starting in front of the Sucla factory and are held in partnership with the São Nicolau Regional Cycling Association.
“In cycling we will have events in men’s and women’s seniors, mountain biking and even levels such as Under-13, Under-10 and Under-16, as a way to encourage the younger ones”, he said.
