Tarrafal de São Nicolau, Feb 25 (Inforpress) – The Minister of Education, Amadeu Cruz, considered “priority the rehabilitation of the Basic School of Ribeira Prata, in the municipality of Tarrafal.
In an interview with Inforpress, on Wednesday, as part of his visit to schools in the municipality of Tarrafal, Amadeu Cruz stresses the importance of performing rehabilitation work at the Ribeira Prata Basic School. “At Ribeira Prata, we will be working as urgently as possible to have the Basic School operating within the normal range,” he says.
The minister says that it is always necessary to intervene in the “school park” and despite the investments made in the rehabilitation of schools, there are priorities have to be established.
Amadeu Cruz also points out that the visit aims to know the concrete reality of the island with regard to the education sector and positively evaluates the school network of the municipality.
