Porto Novo, May 30 (Inforpress) – The Technical University of the Atlantic (UTA) announced today the holding on Wednesday, 31, at the facilities of the Institute of Technological and Agrarian Sciences (ICTA), on the island of Santo Antão, of open day to this university
According to Feminina Reis, ICTA’s secretary, this initiative aims to “widen the dissemination” of the institution and its training offers, and to associate the UTA’s training offers with the professional activities of entities and institutions that operate in similar areas.
The presentation of UTA and its organizational units and a guided tour of the ICTA facilities, in the city of Porto Novo, are some of the activities that will mark the event.
The UTA, through the ICTA, arrived in Santo Antão at the beginning of this academic year, counting, in this first year, with “dozens” of students distributed by the agronomy and zootechnics courses.
