Ponta do Sol, Mar 2 (Inforpress) – The Prime Minister, Ulisses Correia e Silva, said this Thursday, during the laying of the first stone for the start of the rehabilitation works on the Fontainhas road, that it will enhance the village, which is already a world reference.
“We had said that we were going to build the access road to Fontainhas with better conditions and more security, which can be framed within what is the great heritage that this village is”, he said.
Likewise, Ulisses Correia e Silva added that the Government fulfilled today the commitment assumed with the start of the works.
During his speech, the head of government recalled that not only the access road will be rehabilitated, but also the village will undergo an intervention in terms of refurbishing the houses, painting the facades, sanitation, and the system of zone protection, which requires slope protection.
