Porto Novo, Jun 20 (Inforpress) – The future university campus of the Higher Institute of Technologies and Agricultural Sciences of Santo Antão (ISCTA-SA) will be built in the city of Porto Novo, as recommended in the technical studies already carried out by the Ministry of Education.
The Mayor of Porto Novo, Aníbal Fonseca, confirms that there are already technical studies which point to the city of Porto Novo, due to the “physical conditions” it has, as the location of the future university campus of this Institute, which begins operating from October, provisionally, in facilities provided by municipalities and private individuals.
Aníbal Fonseca told Inforpress that his City Hall will be “available” to offer the land for the construction of the university building, by signing an agreement with the Ministry of Education.
The higher education was officially launched in Santo Antão early this June by the Prime Minister, Ulisses Correia e Silva, who reported that the Government is already creating the conditions for the construction of the future university campus.
