The AMSA president, Orlando Delgado, said he did not understand the fact that, over the years, nothing has been done, “absolutely nothing” that could boost this “strategic sector” for the development of Santo Antão.
This official, who in early October took advantage of a meeting in São Vicente with the Deputy Secretary of State for Maritime Economy, Paulo Veiga, to draw attention to the fishing situation in Santo Antão, whether the Government considers this activity as being “strategic” for the local economy.
