Santa Cruz: Carlos Silva takes a “positive” assessment of the first year of the second term at the head of the City Hall

Pedra Badejo, Oct 27 (Inforpress) – The mayor of Santa Cruz considers that a year after the elections the assessment is positive and praise the “gains and tangible interventions” in several key areas for the development of this municipality in the countryside of Santiago.

“This first year in office was an atypical year, which was marked by the crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the bad agricultural year and the holding of legislative and presidential elections, but even so the City Hall team is honoring the commitments made with the citizens of Santa Cruz,” said Carlos Silva, in an interview published on the City Hall’s website.

As he recalled, during this period several people lost their income due to the effects of the pandemic, especially the citizens of Santa Cruz who work or have worked in the islands of Sal and Boa Vista.

For mayor Carlos Silva, despite the constraints caused by the pandemic, his team did not give up, at any time, to fight with determination, commitment and dedication, in the work for which it was elected.
