Assomada, Jul 19 (Inforpress) – The Association for The Development of Fonte Lima (APDFL) holds from Saturday to Sunday, the second edition of the cultural fair with the purpose of promoting the Fonte Lima and Ribeira dos Engenhos products and boosting their economy.
Luís Cabral, one of the members of the organization, told Inforpress that the event also aims to make visitors known a little about the history of these two communities of Santa Catarina, in the countryside of Santiago.
The event will have, above all, the participation market sellers from the two communities, especially those who made street sales and lost income because of the new coronavirus, which will present ceramic products, agricultural and gastronomic products, he said.
Luís Cabral also said that during the event visitors will have the opportunity to know the history of the ceramics from Fonte Lima, which has two potteries are keeping alive this tradition.
