At the inauguration, the director of the National Center for Art, Crafts and Design (CNAD), Irlando Ferreira, showed that the exhibition and the brand represent the achievement of a “very great” challenge, because working from São Vicente to Brava, through digital means, “is completely different” than when working in person. As he pointed out, since 2018, when the project began, they were already aware that it would be a challenge, but the motivation of the creatives, both designers and the hand-embroidered made by women, made the CNAD and everyone involved bet everything was possible so that the project could get to what it is today. Santa Catarina: City Hall promotes raising awareness week about care to be taken with solid waste

Assomada, Jun 8 (Inforpress) – The City Hall of Santa Catarina, in the countryside of Santiago, promotes from Monday to Saturday, 11th, the 3rd Environment Week focusing on raising awareness among citizens for the care to be taken with solid waste.

Speaking to Inforpress, the Director of Environment, Sanitation and Civil Protection, Zenon Miranda, explained that the initiative, which began on Monday with an environmental awareness action at the Bus Terminal of Assomada and Moinho, falls within the scope of the World Environment Day, marked on June 5, under the motto “One Earth”.

However, according to the same source, the target audience during this week are all citizens, involving adults, young people and even children.

And given that the problem focuses on the treatment of solid waste, this week they will raise a awareness campaign to commercial establishments to help them treat waste better.
