The purchase of the two sewerage trucks, whose tender has already been launched, is part of the Santo Antão water and sanitation project, which is being implemented by the Government, with funding of around 1.2 billion escudos from the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa (Badea).
A note from the City Hall of Porto Novo explains that the tenders under this project are being launched according to the lots for each intervention area, namely for the purchase of high-precision meters, construction of 200 bathrooms in the countryside of Porto Novo and the works to expand the water supply network in this municipality.
