Espargos, Jan 7 (Inforpress) – Minister of Education, Family and Social Inclusion, Maritza Rosabal, is in Sal Island for a two-day visit to take notes of the current state of education and, above all, to listen the teachers concerns in that tourist island.
Maritza Rosabal, who started her agenda with a meeting with the Mayor of Sal, Julio Lopes, has also scheduled, for these two days, a visit to some institutions under her tutelage, meeting with teachers of primary and secondary education, as well as presentation of the balance of the educational project.
The official has also scheduled a working meeting with the delegation team of the Cabo Verdean Child and Adolescent Institute (ICCA), to learn about its operation. At the hour and a half meeting with the Mayor Júlio Lopes, where various topics were discussed, Maritza Rosabal highlighted, however, the availability of land for the construction of a new elementary school in the northern area of Espargos this year.
“With the City Hall this meeting was very important, as it allowed us to review all the files we have together. For example, the location of the new elementary school, whose works will begin this year, in the northern area of Espargos,” she said.
