Espargos, Jun 2 (Inforpress) – The City Hall of Sal on Tuesday honored journalists Victor Sousa and Jefferson Gomes, winners of the National Journalism Award 2020, also Moisés Évora for the “Special COVID-19” program, contributing this time to the fight and prevention of the virus.
The public ceremony for this recognition to the three journalists took place this afternoon in the Noble Hall of the City Hall, witnessed by some guests, and fellow professionals of the local media.
Victor Sousa won in the Television category with the report entitled “Sal sem Turismo”, while Jefferson Gomes, RCV and from Sal, won with the report “Cabo Verde olhos de quem liderou o País”.
Journalist Moisés Évora was also honored for the RCV’s “Special COVID-19” program, which, according to critics, has contributed “greatly” to raising awareness among citizens and communities in the fight for the prevention of the virus in Island and in the country in general.
