Praia, May 12 (Inforpress) – The Prime Minister, Ulisses Correia e Silva, visited the Port of Tanger, in Morocco, to see “in loco” the operation of what is considered one of the twenty largest transhipment ports in the world world
The visit, which took place on the third and penultimate day of the official visit of the Cape Verdean Executive to the Kingdom of Morocco, is part of the Government’s ambitions to carry out the project of the Special Economic and Maritime Zone in São Vicente (ZEEM).
Speaking to the press after visiting the Port of Tangier, Ulisses Correia e Silva, asserted that he had invited the administration and its staff to visit the island of São Vicente to learn about the ZEEM project, with a view to exchanging experience regarding the existing governance model and that it has worked “very well” with industrial activity for export.
