Prime minister classifies of “very important” investment in the new campus of Uni-CV


Praia, June 20 (Inforpress) – Within three years the University of Cabo Verde (Uni-CV) will have a new university campus, an investment that the Prime minister, Ulisses Correia e Silva, considers “very important” for the country.

For the head of Government, this is an investment in a “fundamental and strategic” sector for the development of Cabo Verde, which is education and higher education.

Ulisses Correia e Silva, speaking at the ceremony to launch the first stone for the construction of the university campus of Uni-CV, said that infrastructure will allow the country to be “at the level of all other university campuses in the more developed world “.

He emphasized the role of China’s ambassador to Cabo Verde, Du Xiaocong, in “enhancing economic, political and institutional diplomacy” between the two countries.
