President of Guinea-Bissau promises closer relations with Cabo Verde in areas such as tourism and the sea

Mindelo, Jul 12  (Inforpress) – The President of Guinea-Bissau,  Umaro  Sissoco  Embaló, said in Mindelo, there is every interest to cooperate with Cabo Verde in the field of tourism, The School of the Sea and in other areas such as justice.

The Guinean Head of State, who was speaking at a press conference on Sunday morning at the People’s Palace, São Vicente, along with his Cabo Verdean counterpart, said he needed to take advantage of Cabo Verde’s tourism experience.

Therefore, he assured, the Minister of Tourism who is part of his delegation “as soon as he arrives in Bissau will begin to launch the procedures in this area to make an agreement”.

The same source also referred to the “great School of the Sea”, which visited this Saturday in São Vicente, but there is already an “agreement” between the ministries of foreign affairs of the two countries, which “laid all the bases for cooperation in all areas”, including justice.
