Preparations for the first Czech and Cabo Verdean trade fair “are at a good pace” – Organization

Praia, Sept 1 (Inforpress) – The vice-president of the Czech and Cabo Verdean Chamber of Commerce assured that preparations for the first fair of Czech and Cabo Verdean companies and entrepreneurs, to be held next September in Praia, “are at a good pace”.
Mónica Sofia Duarte, who is also the founder of the Czech and Cabo Verdean Chamber of Commerce, gave this guarantee in statements to Inforpress, stressing that the event, under the theme “Cabo Verde as the gateway of Czech entrepreneurs to Africa”, aims to bring together high-level companies and entrepreneurs from the Czech and Cabo Verdean market with an interest in investing in their respective countries.
As he assured, the preparations “are at a good pace”, with six companies missing at this time to confirm their presence at the fair, which takes place from September 22 to 24. He also said that despite some constraints faced to meet the objectives, the organization is “strongly motivated” for this project to become a reality.
“It’s been a bit tricky because for the first time we’ll have a fair of this nature involving Cabo Verde and the Czech Republic. At the moment we already have the confirmation of several significant Czech companies and clusters from different fields and one of the constraints has been the price of airline tickets that is very expensive, about two thousand euros, but I believe that we will be able to bring Czech companies to Cabo Verde”, said Mónica Duarte.
