Praia, Sep 20 (Inforpress) – The head of the Portuguese Cultural Center (CCP) in the city of Praia, Andreia Mendes, said that there is already a resumption of face-to-face activities, but with all the necessary care and restrictions because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Andreia Mendes spoke to Inforpress, on the sidelines of the presentation of the theater show “Mar d’nos vida” by Morabeza Teatro – Cabo Verde, in the framework of the 6th Edition of the Children’s Theatre Show – MOTIM, a production of the Free Academy of Integrated Arts of Mindelo (ALAIM) and Troupe Para Moss, which aims to promote the theater to children.
“Effectively there is a recovery, but we always continue with all the care and all the restrictions are necessary. The issue of the COVID-19 pandemic is unresolved, as we know. We continue to wear masks and we have to take all the care is necessary because we know that we have to live together in this way and we can’t stop, as is of course,” she said.
Moreover, he pointed out, it began with the activities in January of this year, which were then interrupted due to the worsening situation and, at the moment, it is resuming activities and intending that many of those were postponed to 2022 due to the artist’s own agenda, are scheduled for many to happen later this year.
