Praia: ICCA Social Protection Center in Lém-Cachorro receives computer and art equipment

Praia, Dec 10 (Inforpress) – Young people from the Social Protection Center of the Cabo Verdean Child and Adolescent Institute (ICCA), in Lém-Cachorro, received this Thursday by the Church of Jesus Christ of Saints of the Last Days computer and art equipment.

This donation, which consists of computers for setting up a computer room, as well as equipment, tools and consumables for setting up a leather arts studio, according to ICCA estimates, will train 120 young people annually, thus contributing to the decreased youth unemployment and other associated social problems.

Speaking to Inforpress, the Church’s representative, Roseveltt Teixeira, was satisfied with the donation to the ICCA, and said that this support is thanks to members of the church worldwide.

Roseveltt Teixeira stated that the church’s greatest wish is the institute can make good use of donated resources and young people can learn a lot.
