At the inauguration, the director of the National Center for Art, Crafts and Design (CNAD), Irlando Ferreira, showed that the exhibition and the brand represent the achievement of a “very great” challenge, because working from São Vicente to Brava, through digital means, “is completely different” than when working in person. As he pointed out, since 2018, when the project began, they were already aware that it would be a challenge, but the motivation of the creatives, both designers and the hand-embroidered made by women, made the CNAD and everyone involved bet everything was possible so that the project could get to what it is today. Praia: Four primary schools completely rehabilitated for the new school year – Delegate

Praia, Aug 25 (Inforpress) – The delegate of the Ministry of Education of Praia, stated that the rehabilitation works were carried out in the schools of Ponta de Água, Eugénio Lima, Capelinha and Várzea, so these school will start the new school year recovered and with more conditions.

Adriano Moreno gave this information in an interview with Inforpress, referring that, at this moment, 90% of the basic education schools in the City of Praia are completely recovered.

“These are schools that will be completely rehabilitated and with a new look. Of the 48 public schools existing in Praia, 36 had already been requalified and now we added on the list these four, we are around 90% of schools completely recovered”, he said.

As indicated, the remodeling works include internal and external paintings, placement of floor in the classrooms, repair of kitchens and bathrooms, adding that washbasins with running water were placed in all schools so that in case of students attend regular classroom sessions they can hand hygiene more safely.
