City of Praia, 18 Sep (Inforpress) – The President of the Republic said today that he hopes that the new academic year will run smoothly and peacefully, reiterating the need to resolve labor disputes and establish a climate of dialogue to guarantee quality in the system educational.
In his message on the beginning of the new academic year, José Maria Neves greeted, with “great joy”, students, teachers, parents and guardians, as well as employees and all those involved in this process of building the future of Cabo Verde.
“I reiterate my hope that, with the beginning of this academic year, pending issues related to labor issues will be resolved and that a climate of dialogue, trust and common sense will be established. This way, we can create a good working environment, reinforce motivation and ensure greater efficiency and quality in the educational system”, he highlighted.
In an increasingly competitive world, he argued that it is necessary to place emphasis on excellent education with the ambition of being able to recruit the best teachers, well trained, with solid preparation, with scientific and pedagogical soundness, guarantee continuous training and create the conditions to keep them motivated and on track for their career.
