Lisbon, Jun 7 (Inforpress) – The Cabo Verdean Painter residing in Luxembourg Nelson Neves was “satisfied” with his career and revealed that in November he will be in Cabo Verde to exhibit his work on the islands of Santo Antão, Maio, Fogo and Brava.
The artist, who was born on the island of Santo Antão in 1973, and who at the age of 7 emigrated with his parents to Luxembourg, said that the “artistic life has been positive”, because in the country where he lives, art, in general, is “very well supported”, without forgetting the support he receives from the city council where he lives.
“Here it is very easy to exhibit my work, to show my works and I have been lucky, because I receive many invitations of primary schools and high schools to do a cultural workshop “, he said, recalling that for two years he has also collaborated with Festival Sete Sóis Sete Luas, (the Seven Suns Seven Moons Festival), where he has had the opportunity to exhibit in Italy, Portugal and Cabo Verde.
It is within the scope of this festival that Nelson Neves travels to Cabo Verde in November, where he will exhibit his works on the island of Santo Antão and during his stay he will teach a painting workshop.
