Portugal: Mário Lúcio & Os Kriols, Carmen Souza and Lucibela perform today at the Festival “Au Fil des Voix” in Paris

Lisbon, Jan 25 (Inforpress) – Cape Verdean artists Mário Lúcio & Os Kriols, Carmen Souza and Lucibela perform at the Festival “Au Fil des Voix” which runs from until February 11 in Paris, France.

According to the organization, the 16th edition of the “Au Fil des Voix” Festival will be opened by Cape Verdeans in a night dedicated to Cape Verde that takes place in the “La Cigale” room and in the week that Lynn Adib & Lynn will also perform at the festival. Marc Buronfosse on the 25th, Houria AÏchi on January 26, Roforofo Jazz and Kiara Jones Music on January 27 and 28, respectively.

Created in 2008, the “Au Fil des Voix” Festival was created by the association with the same name. In this 17-night edition will have the performance of around 20 artists and/or groups from, in addition to Cape Verde, coming from Senegal, Venezuela, Ecuador, Algeria, Chad, Guinea-Conakry, Turkey and Denmark, with musical genres such as jazz, Latin rock, afrobeat and neo-soul, among others.

The performance tonight is an opportunity for Cape Verdean singer, songwriter and writer Mário Lúcio to present his latest album “Migrants”, as well as Lucibela who released her second album “Amdjer” in 2022, and Carmen Souza her tenth record released in December 2022, “Interconnectedness”
