Lisbon, 10 May (Inforpress) – Cabo Verdean photographer Ben do Rosário, who has been living in Portugal since he was seven years old, will open an exhibition of travel photographs entitled “globetrotter – Travel Photography” on 17 May in Lisbon.
The exhibition will be opened at 6pm (4pm in Cabo Verde) and will be open to the public until 31 May, in Rego neighbourhood, at the Galeria Avenidas – Um Teatro em cada Bairro”.
For the photographer, the exhibition is the “symbiosis” of two passions: photography and travelling, which lately have been together with some frequency, explaining that the exhibition should have taken place a few years ago, but because of the covid-19 pandemic, it ended up being postponed.
“However, this ‘exhibition/journey’ was enriched by what followed this forced break: more and interesting trips”, according to Bem do Rosário, despite not covering all the countries he has visited, around 60 so far, so the option for the term “globetrotter” (world traveler).
