Lisbon, 16 May (Inforpress) – Cabo Verde is taking part in the fifth edition of the Portuguese Language Market, an initiative of the Union of Portuguese Speaking Capital Cities (UCCLA), to be held this year from 26 to 28 of May in Cascais.
According to information provided by UCCLA, the event, which has.the institutional support of the Cascais City Council, takes place at the Mercado da Vila de Cascais (Cascais Town Market), and among other activities, will be marked by handicrafts, music and gastronomy with “flavors from all continents ”.
From Cabo Verde, Zezé Barbosa and Sandra Horta (music), Filinto Elísio (literature), Artempalha 100% Cabo Verde and Plataforma Voador (handicrafts), Café Laura (gastronomy) and the Lisbon Cape Verdean Association (ACV) will participate.
In addition to Cape Verde, the countries and regions represented are also Angola, Brazil, Galicia, Goa, Guinea-Bissau, Macau, Mozambique, Portugal, São Tomé and Príncipe and Timor Leste.
