Lisbon, 22 Sep (Inforpress) – The most recent album by Cape Verdean artist Mário Lúcio, “Migrants”, was elected one of the 100 best albums of the 2022/2023 season by Transglobal World Music Chart ((TWMC), in a list that also includes Guinean Eneida Marta.

“My gratitude to my entire team, all the professionals who worked on this album, to the fans, audiences and friends from all over the world”, thanked Mário Lúcio, through his social networks.

In the list of 100, “Migrants” appears as the 93rd name, Ali Farka Touré, with the album “Voyageur”, the first, Souad Massi, with “Sequana”, second, Gaye Su Akyol, with the album “Anadolu Ejderi”, as third and Eneida Marta, as “Família” in 33rd.

The Transglobal World Music Chart (TWMC) was created in 2015, with the aim of creating a network of music critics and promoting the best world music productions, selected by experts from around the world.
