Porto Novo, Jun 22 (Inforpress) – The 2021 edition of the craft fair in the municipality of Porto Novo which takes place annually in the framework of the feasts of São João, patron saint, has been marked by the weak presence of the public, according to the artisans.
Approached by Inforpress, the artisans lamented the fact this event, scheduled to end this Wednesday, the 23rd, has not this year aroused interest of the Porto Novo citizens, supposedly for lack of promotion.
“This year, the fair was very weak. We could not sell almost anything”, noted the artisan Lena Monteiro, for whom “the necessary promotion was not made” so that people could visit the fair and buy the products on display.
In participation of artisans, this cultural event, which takes place since the 18th, too, was little crowded this year, having had “a small number” of local fairs, according to the organization.
