Porto Novo, Nov 6 (Inforpress) – The recovery of Ribeira de Carpinteiro in Ribeira das Patas, Porto Novo, is a major concern for farmers and is “something that has to be done”, according to MPD MPs elected by Santo Antão constituency.

The farmers in Ribeira de Carpinteiro have been waiting for six years for the recovery works in this area, which was devastated, between 2010 and 2012, with the ungoverned extraction of inert that were used in the port of Porto Novo.
