Porto Novo: Councilman João Lima says he is being “a nuisance” in the City Hall and fears he could finish his term

Porto Novo, Sep 23 (Inforpress) – The councilman of the City Hall of Porto Novo, Santo Antão, João Lima, says he is being a nuisance to the City Hall team to which he belongs, because he is not “collaborating with certain harmful acts” to City Hall.

During the recent session of the Porto Novo Municipal Assembly, which took place this weekend, Councilman João Lima and the Mayor, Aníbal Fonseca, once again had “disagreements” about issues related to the functioning of the City Hall, which eventually deteriorate the relationship between them.

The councilman, among other issues, spoke of “embezzlement” in the City Hall and promised to clarify this issue in “appropriate space”, and also accused the mayor of “hiding information”, especially regarding inaugurations.

“I acknowledge that I am a nuisance because I am not collaborating with certain acts that are detrimental to the City Hall,” admitted the councilman, who fears that his term of office may end.
