Porto Novo, Jul 15 (Inforpress) – The City Hall of Porto Novo, Santo Antão, today urged the Porto Novo youth to compete for the second edition of the Luanda Biennial (Angola) to take place in October.
The Luanda Biennial –”Pan-African Forum for the Culture of Peace”, is organized by the Angolan Government, the United Nations Educational, Science and Culture Organization (UNESCO) and the African Union Commission, which informed interested people that competition is open for participation in intergenerational dialogue between leaders and young people, under the theme “Cultural and heritage diversity of Africa and its diasporas”.
The event will take place between October 4 and 8 and young people will be selected until July 20 among the members of the national youth councils, the national coordination of the pan-African Youth Network for the Culture of Peace, the Youth Network for Peace and Security, among other youth organizations.
The meeting will be attended by 150 young people of both sexes, whose application process will be conducted by an ad hoc youth committee, according to a note issued by the City Hall of Porto Novo, asking young people to compete for participation in the biennial.
