Porto Novo, Mar 12 (Inforpress) – The cheese factory of Porto Novo is already operating in the São João Baptista farm, in Lajedos, a private project, in addition to agri-food processing, also includes animal husbandry and sustainable agriculture practice.
Businessman João Santos, one of the project’s mentors, confirms that the process of relocating the cheese factory in the São João Baptista farm is in the completion phase, stating that the charcuterie part is already working in the new facilities built in Lajedos, in the countryside of the municipality of Porto Novo.
João Santos said that, from This Monday, 15, the cheese factory will already be operating in Lajedos, thus completing the process of transferring the cheese factory, which until now operated in the city of Porto Novo, to the quinta São João Baptista, in Lajedos.
The project, which is in charge of the Porto Novo entrepreneurs João Santos and Pedro Santos, focuses on agri-food processing, animal husbandry and also in the practice of sustainable agriculture, an “investment of many thousands escudos”.
