Praia, Jan 23 (Inforpress) – The Pilorinku and Africa 70 Association preside this Saturday, January 26, to launch the digital television project called “Txeka zona- community tv”, within the scope of the “Xalabas-de kumunidade” project, funded by the European Union.
Speaking to Inforpress, project coordinator Mariangela Fornuto explained that the “Xalabas-di kumunidadi” project is funded with 50 million escudos, to be implemented in the neighborhoods of Achada Grande and Lém Ferreira, for a period of 36 months and aims to contribute to a greater integration of communities in the development of sustainable tourism in Cabo Verde.
According to the official, the project includes programs for volunteer and community tourism, urban redevelopment of neighborhoods, aiming at strengthening and improving communities.
She added that the digital television project “Txeka zona- tv comunitário” is one of the initiatives carried out by the Pilorinku Association and Africa 70, within the framework of the EU-funded “Xalabas de kumunidade” project.
