Praia, Jan 11 (Inforpress) – The People’s Party (PP) has been holding internal debates for the preparation of the activity plan for 2022 and the preparation of some laws to present to the National Assembly.
The information was forwarded on Monday to Inforpress by President Amândio Vicente, adding that the party, despite not having been calling the press, has met every two weeks to analyze the national political news.
Among the laws to be presented to parliament, Amândio Vicente highlighted the reformulation of the amendment of law which defines and establishes the crimes of responsibility for political office holders.
“In our law, the definition of corruption is very weak, not including economic participation in business and the violation of urban plans,” said Amândio Vicente, noting that it is a proposal from civil society.
