Porto Novo, Jul 1 (Inforpress) – The City Hall of Paul will channel the resources from the decentralization fund, launched in May, within the scope of Luxembourg cooperation, in projects related to agriculture, fisheries and the environment, according to decision from the City Hall of Paul.
The projects, already identified in the framework of the Strategic Municipal Plan for Sustainable Development, will be implemented by July 2022, according to City Hall of Paul.
The Decentralization Fund foresees 2.8 million Euros (308 billion escudos) to finance local projects and associations, with 2.3 million Euros (253 billion escudos) divided for the 22 municipalities and 500.000 Euros (55 million escudos) distributed to the nine pilot municipalities at the Platform for Local Development and Objectives 2030 program, which comprise the municipalities of Santo Antão.
According to the Government, this fund seeks to finance projects identified and prioritized by City Hall and associations within the framework of the Municipal Strategic Plans for Sustainable Development (PEMDS), already approved.
