Paralympics: Marilson Semedo and Anderson Delgado debut today at the “Grand Prix de Tunis”

Praia, Mar 18 (Inforpress) – Cabo Verdean international Paralympic athletes Marilson Semedo and Anderson Delgado debut today at the “Grand Prix de Tunis” in Tunisia looking for qualification for the 2020 Tokyo Paralympic Games.

Marilson Delgado, gold medal winner at the African Games, is the first Cabo Verdean athlete to enter in the competetion, since at 1:05 PM local time (11:05 Cabo Verde time) will hold the dart throw race, and on Friday, at 10:15 (08:15) to compete in javelin paralympic qualification.

Semedo, an amputee athlete of a lower limb, returns to compete on Saturday, 20th, this time in the weight release, race scheduled for 9:10 in Cabo Verde.

Anderson Delgado, the African bronze medallist in the 400 metres, represents the country at the Tunisian Grand Prix in the T-47 category, an amputation of the upper limb, has his debut scheduled for this morning at 3:05 local time (1:05 PM Cabo Verde) in jump length.
