ONAD-CV signs cooperation agreement with its Portuguese counterpart

São Filipe, May 2 (Inforpress) – The National Anti-Doping Organization of Cabo Verde (ONAD-CV) and the Anti-Doping Authority of Portugal (ADoP) sign today, the 2nd, in the City of Praia, a cooperation agreement in the field of the fight against doping in sport.

The agreement between these two institutions includes the exchange of experiences gathered within both organizations and the holding of training and clarification sessions for  ONAD-CV employees and leaders.

According to a press release from ONAD-CV, the ADoP delegation, represented by its President Manuel Brito, will be in Cabo Verde between May 1 and 5, and on the sidelines of the signing of this agreement they will carry out other activities already scheduled and in partership with ONAD-CV.

The signing act between “the two institutions linked to combating doping in sport will be chaired by the Deputy Minister of the Prime Minister for Youth and Sport, Carlos Monteiro, who also has on the agenda to welome the Portuguese delegation, accompanied by the Ambassador of Portugal in Cabo Verde, António Albuquerque Moniz, for a courtesy visit.
