OMCV has already benefited from January to July more than 1.000 young people in various areas of vocational training – President

Praia, Sept 1 (Inforpress) – The president of the Cabo Verdean Women’s Organization (OMCV), Idalina Gonçalves, said today that, from January to July this year, the organization benefited more than 1.000 young people from different islands of the country and several of professional training.

Idalina Gonçalves gave this information in an interview with Inforpress, indicating that the OMCV will hold in the coming days a closing ceremony of three training courses in the restaurant areas and communication in English language.

According to her, a total of 132 graduates from the islands of Santo Antão, São Vicente and the municipality of Tarrafal de Santiago attended in the training activities, carried out in partnership with the Institute of Employment and Vocational Training (IEFP).

“The assessment of training is very positive and particularly in the municipality of Tarrafal we have, at this moment, a fully restored and expanded center and with better conditions, we have registered a very great demand in the areas of kitchen and catering and sustainable tourism”, she said.
