Praia, May 5 (Inforpress) – “Nova Aurora” is the name of Cremilda Medina’s second album, released today on all digital platforms and in physical format at the Cabo Verde Cultural Center in Lisbon, Portugal and soon in stores in Cabo Verde.
After having edited her first album “Folclore” in 2017, which made her recognized nationally and internationally, Cremilda Medina now returns with another studio album entitled “Nova Aurora”.
According to the Move Agency press release, Nova Aurora is an album that brings together a range of “excellent” Cape Verdean composers, produced between Portugal and Cabo Verde, with the musical production of the renowned producer and pianist Nando Andrade and the participation of also by several renowned musicians.
“In this album, Cremilda continues her journey through the rhythms of morna and coladeira, another record thinking about the essence of tradition, continuing her search and preservation of the past, in sounds that bring back memories of other times and people of yesteryear, with special guest Tito Paris, an internationally recognised icon of Cape Verdean music,” reads the press release.
