Nova Sintra, Jun 9 (Inforpress) – The organisation of the festivities of Nhô Santo António, in the village of Lém, in Brava, has given a “positive note” to the public for their involvement and support in sports activities, and hopes that it will be the same for the others.
Speaking to Inforpress, Alex Garcia, a member of the Lém association and responsible for sporting activities, after delivering the trophies of sporting activities on Thursday night, highlighted that all this was possible thanks to the “massive participation” of the public and the commitment of teams of all locations to participate in activities.
As the same source said, the activities began on 13 May with the tournaments and the “full house”, every day, is demonstrating that the flag of Nhô Santo António, which has its high point on 13 June with the mass and procession in honour of Santo António, “will be celebrated with all the force as it always had”.
According to him, in this tournament Nhô Santo António had the participation of different levels, namely under-12, under-15, senior men, senior women and old glories, with the participation of a total of 16 teams from different locations and all competitions came to an end without any surprises, culminating in the delivery of trophies to the winners.
