Praia, Sept 2 (Inforpress) – ARME announced that adjustment was made on the tariffs for the sale of electricity to the final consumers of Electra and AEB, effective from October 1st.
According to the press release from the Multisectoral Economic Regulatory Agency (ARME), this adjustment was made as a result of the evolution of fuel prices during the period from October 1, 2020 to September 30, 2021 and the appropriate adjustments resulting from the previous indexing exercises.
Thus, explains the note, ELECTRA’s electricity tariffs are adjusted by 6.43 ECV/kWh for each kWh invoiced and at all levels, corresponding to an increase in the average tariff weighted by the 2020 invoiced amounts of 30.53%.
As for Boa Vista’s Water and Energy (AEB) tariffs, ARME said they undergo an adjustment of 5.80 ECV/kWh for each kWh invoiced and in all levels, corresponding to an increase in the average tariff weighted by the amounts invoiced for 2020, of 24.55%.
