National Institute of Statistics (INE) trains field agents for the Financial Inclusion Survey

Praia, May 22 (Inforpress) – INE has today started a training of field agents for the Financial Inclusion Survey, which aims to collect data on inclusion in the system, financial products and services, access and use of digital services and mobile money.

Speaking to the press, the vice-president of the National Institute of Statistics (INE), Fernando Rocha, who presided over the opening act in partnership with the administrator of the Bank of Cape Verde Elias Pereira, explained that this was an inquiry requested by the PADI-projected CV funded by Luxembourg cooperation.

In the survey, which has funding of around 9,400 PTE, about 5,300 households will be covered at national level.

“The main objective is to measure and characterize the level of access of financial services and products,” he said, stressing that after the identification of family members to be interviewed individuals aged 18 years and over will be interviewed.
