Praia, May 20 (Inforpress) – The National Assembly, through its general secretary, clarified that “at any time” did transaction with the IT Solutions company, namely signing of a contract, provision of services or any payment.
The reaction follows the news released on May 13, with the title “PAICV accuses MpD’s MP of ‘using political influence’ to ‘favor the company he owns”, after a press conference by the National Political Commission of the African Party for the Independence of Cabo Verde (PAICV, opposition party) member, Fidel Cardoso de Pina.
On the occasion, the National Political Commission of PAICV member also said that on the MP there are suspicions of “having presented or even provided” effective services to the National Assembly, “not knowing if he was acting as managing partner of the Solutions company or Secretary of the Bureau and member of the board of directors of the National Assembly ”.
“The National Assembly never made any transactions (contract, service or any payment) with the IT Solutions company. It also informs that the referred company is not included in the database of companies providing services to the National Assembly ”, reads the clarification note.
