Natacha Magalhães defends the need to reinforce the work to taking books to children from the periphery

Praia, Apr 23 (Inforpress) – Natacha Magalhães defended this Monday the need to focus on storytelling and take the book to children in the most outlying areas of the City of Praia.

Natacha Magalhães was speaking to Inforpress at the end of a storytelling activity for students of the Integrated Basic Education in Safende School, in the National Library, in the capital, as part of the World Book and Authors Day celebrations this Tuesday, 23.

More than telling stories, the writer provided these children with a different way to get in touch with the book, making use of the puppets to give life to the characters in the books.

For this writer, it is very important that there are visual elements in these activities because it helps the children to pay more attention in the story and at the same time interact.
