Praia, April 19 (Inforpress) – Cape Verdean singer and songwriter Mário Lúcio releases today on digital platforms his latest video-single titled “Mi Só,” which is part of his tenth album “Migrants” already available in the market.
The video was filmed in December 2022 in his hometown, “Tarrafal,” on the island of Santiago, by a team of creators with the poetic direction of renowned Brazilian documentarist Priscilla Brasil, according to the production company Insulada, as reported by Inforpress.
“The idea was to capture the essence of the place, the people, and the land, with a look beyond the touristy,” reads the statement.
“Mi Só,” as explained by the same source, is inspired by a Buddhist theme, highlighting solitude as an opportunity for contemplation, from an individual experience first, and then sharing it with others.
