More expensive butane gas and other cheaper fuels from September 1st – ARME

Mindelo, Sept1 (Inforpress) – Fossil fuels such as gasoline and diesel will be cheaper from today, September 1, except for butane gas, which increased by 2.29%, according to a report released today by the Multisectoral Regulatory Agency for the Economy (ARME).

According to the new price released by ARME, diesel fuel starts to be sold at 99.20 escudos per liter, gasoline now costs 130.60 escudos and oil at 82.60, diesel for electricity goes to 83.90 escudos and marine diesel at 71.00; Fuel 380, 78.30 and Fuel 180 at 81.20.

Butane gas, the only high-grade fuel this month, will be sold in bulk for 147.10 escudos per liter, with the three-kilograms bottles costing 419 escudos; six kilograms costing 883 escudos, 12.5 kilos kilograms costing 1.839 escudos and 55 kilograms costing 8.090 escudos.

ARME justified these figures with data published in Platts European Marketscan ́ eLPGasWire ́, which shows that average fuel prices on international markets, quoted in US dollars per tonne, “reversed the upward trend and fell during August 1.69 percent (%) compared to July, except butane.
