Praia, Oct 21 (Inforpress) – The Minister of Education, Maritza Rosabal, chaired the presentation ceremony of the MELISSA project and MAC INTERREG projects on Tuesday, the first being aimed at women and the second one at young people.
The MELISSA project, which will mainly include women entrepreneurs, and the MAC INTERREG project, which will train around 885 young people and adults, are financed within the framework of cooperation between Cabo Verde and the Canary Islands.
Speaking to the press, on the sidelines of the presentation, the Minister of Education stated that the referred projects will be developed using new Communication and Information Technologies (ICT).
As stated, this cooperation started in April 1999, through Rádio ECCA, Canarias Foundation, having as main objectives the cultural promotion and “rising education of young people and adults”, using the ECCA System technology.
