Praia, April 10 (Inforpress) – A total of 80 projects out of the 163 submitted by national artists and creators were selected under the National Artistic Creation Promotion call for the 2023 fiscal year by the Ministry of Culture and Creative Industries.
According to a publication by the Ministry of Culture, the call was launched on February 14 and closed on March 14, following application criteria for the selection of projects to be executed in Cabo Verde, all related to culture and creative industries.
In total, the same source revealed, 163 projects were submitted, of which 80 were selected, all related to the creation of a national cultural agenda, subsequently managed by the General Directorate of Arts and Creative Industries (DGAIC).
As highlighted, the island with the most project submissions was Santiago, with a total of 79, followed by São Vicente with 29, Santo Antão with 25, and Maio island with 14.
