Praia, Jun 9 (Inforpress) – The Minister of Justice, Joana Rosa, was satisfied with the services of the Registers, Notary and Registry, as well as Civil and Criminal Identification, but pointed out there are still challenges must be overcome.
Joana Rosa made this speech to the press, on the sidelines of her visit to the Directorate-General for Notary and Registry Registers, explaining that the objective was to find out the functioning of these institutions.
“There are many challenges, but we have had many gains in the computerization of services, specifically the National Identification Card,” stressing that there is no longer a need for people to go to entities to request documents, because they can choose to dial through the free line.
On the other hand, the Government is working to implement the single card, that is the document allows someone who makes a deed to go to the Notary’s Office and can perform a single act, she said, .
